Tell Me About The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W Hb (Saniyasnain Khan) Goodword English
Introduction
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger of Allah, sent to guide all humanity. His life exemplifies honesty, patience, courage, and mercy. Saniyasnain Khan’s Goodword Hb presents his story in simple language for children, but the lessons are profound for all ages. This explanation expands on the book to highlight key events, character traits, and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.
Early Life
Muhammad ﷺ was born in Makkah in 570 CE, in the respected Quraysh tribe. His father passed away before he was born, and his mother died when he was very young. The Prophet ﷺ was cared for by his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, and later by his uncle, Abu Talib.
Even as a child, he was known for his honesty, humility, and good manners. People called him Al-Amin — “the trustworthy.” He never lied, cheated, or hurt anyone, even as a young boy.
Youth and Character
As a young man, Muhammad ﷺ worked as a shepherd and later in trade. He was respected for his fairness and integrity. At 25, he worked for a wealthy widow, Khadijah (RA). His honesty and wisdom impressed her, and she proposed marriage. They shared a happy and loving life, and Khadijah ﷺ became his first supporter in prophethood.
The Prophet ﷺ always helped the poor, respected elders, cared for orphans, and treated everyone with kindness. Even before prophethood, he avoided injustice and was known for his excellent character.
Receiving Revelation
At age 40, while meditating in Hira Cave near Makkah, Muhammad ﷺ received the first revelation from Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). Allah commanded him to recite the words of guidance. This marked the beginning of his mission as the last prophet.
The first verses revealed were from Surah Al-‘Alaq:
“Recite in the name of your Lord who created…”
Though he was initially frightened, his wife Khadijah ﷺ and her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal reassured him. Allah had chosen him to guide humanity to worship only Him and follow His guidance.
Early Prophethood and Preaching
Muhammad ﷺ began teaching Islam secretly at first, inviting close family and friends. Among the first followers were Ali ibn Abi Talib, Abu Bakr, Khadijah, and Zayd ibn Harithah.
After three years, he started preaching openly, calling the Quraysh to worship Allah alone, avoid idol worship, and act justly. This angered many leaders, who began to persecute him and his followers.
Despite hardships, the Prophet ﷺ remained patient and continued inviting people to Islam with wisdom and gentle words.
Boycott and Hardships
The Quraysh imposed a social and economic boycott on the Muslims and Prophet ﷺ. The believers suffered hunger and deprivation. Yet, the Prophet ﷺ never gave up. He continued to guide people, showing patience, courage, and trust in Allah.
During these trials, he emphasized:
Helping the needy
Being honest and fair
Treating prisoners and enemies with mercy
The Night Journey and Ascension (Isra and Mi’raj)
One of the most significant events in his life was Isra and Mi’raj, where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ traveled from Makkah to Jerusalem (Isra) and ascended to the heavens (Mi’raj). There, he met previous prophets, saw signs of Allah, and received the command for Muslims to pray five times daily.
This journey strengthened his faith and demonstrated Allah’s support for him.
Migration to Madinah (Hijrah)
Persecution in Makkah became severe. Allah commanded the Prophet ﷺ to migrate to Madinah. This migration, called Hijrah, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.
In Madinah, the Prophet ﷺ established:
Brotherhood among migrants and helpers
Justice and equality in society
Rules of governance and peace
He welcomed people of all tribes and faiths, building a society based on trust, cooperation, and faith in Allah.
Leadership and Battles
In Madinah, the Prophet ﷺ led the Muslim community and faced challenges from Makkah and other tribes. Battles such as Badr, Uhud, and Khandaq (Trench) tested the Muslims. The Prophet ﷺ showed:
Courage and strategic wisdom
Compassion even for enemies
Faith and reliance on Allah
Despite hardships, the Muslims gradually gained strength and respect.
Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and Makkah Conquest
The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was a peaceful agreement with the Quraysh, showing the Prophet’s wisdom and patience. Later, he returned to Makkah with a strong but peaceful approach.
Upon entering Makkah, he forgave those who had persecuted him, removed idols from the Ka’bah, and established Islam as a religion of peace and monotheism.

Family and Companions
The Prophet ﷺ was a loving husband and caring father. He treated his wives with respect and equality, especially Khadijah and Aisha (RA).
His companions, including Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Uthman, and others, followed his example. They spread Islam across Arabia and preserved his teachings.
Final Sermon and Legacy
Before his death, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ delivered the Farewell Sermon, emphasizing:
Equality of all humans, regardless of race or tribe
Rights of women
Prohibition of injustice and oppression
Importance of following the Qur’an and Sunnah
He passed away in 632 CE, leaving a legacy that guides billions of people today.
Lessons from His Life

Honesty and integrity in all dealings.
Kindness and mercy toward family, neighbors, and even enemies.
Leadership through wisdom and justice, not force.
Forgiveness and humility in victory.
Faith in Allah is the ultimate strength.
Conclusion
Tell Me About The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Hb) is more than a story for children. It teaches the essence of Islam through the life of the Prophet ﷺ: honesty, patience, mercy, courage, and faith in Allah.
The book inspires children to emulate his manners, prayers, and compassion while showing adults the timeless wisdom of his life. Muhammad ﷺ remains a perfect role model for all humanity, showing that truth, justice, and faith always lead to lasting success.
Final Lesson: Follow the Prophet’s example in honesty, kindness, patience, and devotion to Allah — these are the keys to a blessed life.
